Following the great success and feedback from Pilot's large FC1, Pilot have continued their collaboration with Ralph & Enrico from Elster Jet to produce a smaller, more everyday and easy to transport version, sized around the most popular turbines and without compromising on performance.

Please note: the FC1 is designed specifically for aerobatics and 3D vectored flight, with light weight being key. It is not designed to be used as a full power, high speed race plane.

Required Hardware
Turbine size:
- 80-140N for normal sport flying
- 160-180N for 3D vector flight – Avoid high speed, high G flying
Servos: Total x10 (x3 standard size + x7 medium size)
- x3 standard size high torque
- x2 for flaps (minimum 40kg)
- x1 for rudder (minimum 40kg)
- x7 medium size servo for steering (size: 35x15x30mm)
- x2 for ailerons (minimum 16kg)

Build Details
CONTROL THROWS:
- Flap: Maximum available
- Aileron: 14mm up / 14mm down (measured at the wing tip)
- Rudder: 43mm left / 43mm right
- Elevator: 38mm up / 38mm down (measured from the tip at trailing edge of the elevator)
Please note that the correct "centre" position for the elevator is not when it is level.
CENTRE OF GRAVITY:
- 25cm back from the leading edge of the wing at the fuselage
- Measured with empty main tank, full UAT, landing gear down.
VECTOR AND GYRO:
Elster Jet recommend the use of the gyro systems by Powerbox-Systems. These offer two banks, each with individually programmable settings.
